The Callaway Apex family is a premium range of irons and utility clubs, first introduced in 2014 with the original Apex and Apex Pro and MB irons. Since then, the lineup has been frequently updated with new technologies, materials and designs, evolving into one of the most versatile iron families in golf.
The latest Apex 24 range expands the lineup further, offering a wide variety of options, from classic muscle back blades to modern hollow body constructions like the Ai200, designed to deliver enhanced forgiveness and distance. In addition to traditional iron sets, the Apex family also includes a selection of utility irons and utility woods, ideal for use off the tee, combining forgiveness with a penetrating ball flight and excellent control.
Recent models incorporate Callaway's Ai enhanced face technology, generating outstanding speed and spin consistency with tight dispersion into greens. The latest lineup in 2024 features 6 main iron models:
- the MB which is a classic style blade built for experienced ball strikers,
- the CB built for low handicaps who want a touch more forgiveness than the MB,
- the Apex Pro which is built for low to mid handicaps,
- the Ai150 features a forged hollow body construction offering feel and forgiveness in the same blade,
- the Ai200 is built like a p790 with a super forgiving package offering distance and feel,
- the Ai300 built to be the most forgiving club in the series with a thick hollow body construction and Callaway calling it the most complete game improvement iron they've ever made.
With all of these different options available you realise that Callaway have an Apex option for golfers of all skill levels.
