The TaylorMade Qi4D family represents the latest evolution in distance focused golf club performance. Released in 2026, the range contains advanced engineering designed to help golfers swing faster, hit further and maintain consistency on off centre strikes. Each club, from drivers, woods and hybrids, feature the latest technologies and plenty of adjustability settings to suit a wide variety of golfers. Multimaterial constructions allow engineers to strategically place the centre of gravity to optimise speed, stability and performance and a redesigned Speed Pocket reduces spin and protects ball speeds on low face strikes.

Featuring four different driver and fairway head options and three head options for rescue clubs. There's options available for any golfer no matter their experience. The lower spin models such as LS for drivers and Tour for woods will offer more distance, lower spin and a more penetrating ball flight for higher swing speeds. The Max and Max Lite models provide extra forgiveness for those who don't strike the ball consistently in the middle of the clubface.

Frequently Asked Questions

The same as the Qi35, the Qi4D has 4 different head options, LS, Core, Max and Max Lite. Each suited to different styles of golfers, the LS is the hardest to hit and is for experienced ball strikers looking for a more penetrating ball flight. The Max and Max Lite are built for maximum forgiveness so beginners can maintain good distance and accuracy on off centre strikes. The Core is between the two offering a balance of performance and forgiveness and can be used by a wide variety of golfers.

TaylorMade Qi4D golf clubs feature several advanced technologies including; 60X carbon twist face to maintain high ball speeds and consistent spin across the whole face, Trajectory Adjustment System offering fine tuned launch and flight, a redesigned cut through speed pocket to reduce spin on low face strikes and finally a multimaterial construction allowing the engineers to place the CG in different areas optimising speed, stability and performance.

Yes, all of the Qi4D have adjustable weight and loft settings with their Trajectory Adjustment System (TAS). Allowing golfers to customise launch angle, spin and shot shape to match their swing and course conditions. The core driver head has 4 TAS weights on the bottom of the club, the LS and Max have 2 each and the Max Lite has 1 weight.

The Qi4D range is extremely forgiving across all models, but with the Max and Max Lite models, there is an option for all beginners and high handicappers out there. The Max Lite with its lighter head, is especially suited for those struggling with gaining swing speed offers a great addition to the lineup.

The Max Lite models are built for those with slow swing speeds struggling to get the distance they'd like out of their long shots. With lightweight materials and advanced engineering, the Max Lite model offers an excellent alternative to help increase distance and swing speed without sacrificing performance or forgiveness.

Many Taylormade fairway woods feature adjustable lofts and weights. This allows golfers to fine tune ball flight, trajectory and spin to better suit their swing and course conditions. It's worth mentioning however that this is more often found however on the Tour or lower spinning models the Max or more forgiving options typically have less adjustability options.

Taylormade introduced Twist Face technology in 2018 to correct one of the most common problems in golf: mishits that curve too far offline. Unlike traditional flat driver faces, twist face features a subtly curved face that is engineered with corrective face angles in high toe and low heel areas, where most amateurs tend to miss. High toe strikes, which typically produce low spin hooks, are designed to launch slightly higher with more spin. While low heel strikes, which often create high spin slices, are adjusted to reduce excessive spin and curve. This twisting of the face helps shots fly straighter and more consistently, even when contact isn’t perfect. First introduced in the Taylormade M3 and M4 drivers, Twist face has since become a core feature in Taylormade’s modern drivers and fairway woods, offering golfers greater forgiveness and tighter dispersion off the tee.

Taylormade stands out through relentless innovation and a performance first design philosophy. The brand revolutionised metalwoods with adjustable loft sleeves and moveable weight technology, and it continues to push boundaries with carbon faced drivers and advanced face engineering. Unlike many competitors, Taylormade places a strong emphasis on tour validation, working closely with elite players to refine equipment that delivers measurable gains in ball speed, distance and forgiveness. Their commitment to multi material construction, precision tuning and data driven design ensures that cutting edge technology isn't just marketing, it translates directly into real performance benefits for golfers at every level.
