The Titleist TSR series represents the next evolution of Titleist drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids, designed to deliver exceptional speed, distance, and playability. Building on the popular TSi lineup, the TSR models feature refined aerodynamics, advanced weighting, and precise face engineering to maximize ball speed and launch consistency across a wide range of swings.

With four distinct driver models: TSR1, TSR2, TSR3, and TSR4 — golfers can choose the club that best suits their needs: from maximum forgiveness and distance to low-spin, tour-preferred workability. The TSR fairway woods and hybrids continue this performance philosophy, offering high launch, precise control, and easy turf interaction. Together, the TSR family provides golfers of all skill levels with tools to optimize distance, accuracy, and confidence off the tee and from the fairway.

Frequently Asked Questions

The TSR series from Titleist is an extremely popular model of clubs released in 2022, and come in a variety of different drivers, fairway woods and hybrids. Each club has an associated number from 1-4. The TSR1 models are always built for the most forgiveness and the TSR4 is built to have super low spin and a very small sweet spot. The 2 and 3 are between these but with the 2 being slightly more forgiving.

The TSR2 prioritises forgiveness with a larger head profile and multi-plateau face design that maintains ball speed across a wider hitting area. The TSR3 features a more compact shape with an adjustable CG track, offering skilled players greater control over ball flight and spin. Both deliver impressive distance, but TSR3 rewards centre-face strikes with maximum performance.

The TSR1 and TSR2 are excellent options for beginners and higher handicappers. The TSR1 is ultra-lightweight and designed for slower swing speeds, while the TSR2 offers a forgiving blend of distance and consistency. Titleist’s numbering system is consistent across generations so the TS1 corresponds to the TSR1 and so on. These models are frequently available in our used Titleist driver collection at Next2NewGolf.

Yes, Titleist uses a consistent SureFit hosel design across generations. Shafts from GT, TSR, TSi, TS, 917, 915, 913, and 910 drivers are all interchangeable, making it easy to swap or upgrade your shaft on a used Titleist driver.

The SureFit hosel features a sleeve-and-ring system with 16 loft and lie combinations. Drivers and fairway woods adjust in 0.75° increments, allowing you to fine-tune launch angle and shot shape. A SureFit wrench is required for adjustments; you can purchase one separately if it's not included with your used driver.

Yes all Titleist woods features their signature SureFit hosels so you can adjust loft and lie of the club. The "player" style fairway woods like the TSR3 or GT3 do feature adjustable weight systems on the bottom of the face so you can adjust where the centre of gravity is within the head of the club, however the more forgiving models like the GT1 and GT2 don't feature this same technology.

Titleist stands out through its relentless focus on precision, craftsmanship and tour proven performance. Unlike many brands that emphasise flashy technologies, Titleist prioritises consistency, feel and control. Their woods, for example, often feature lightweight multi material constructions that optimise weight distribution for ideal launch, spin and forgiveness. With meticulous quality control, a player first design philosophy and materials engineered for durability and performance, Titleist clubs deliver reliable results on the course, giving golfers of all abilities equipment that performs as well as it looks.

The TS family covers Titleist drivers and fairway woods made from 2019 to 2023. The TS line was first released in 2019, the TSi next in 2021 and TSR finally in 2023. They're all extremely similar in terms of design and performance, but with slight technological improvements within the later iterations.
